Advocacy Programs
Policy engagement, disability rights promotion, public awareness, and inclusion initiatives.
Program Overview
What This Program Does
Reach & Touch Charity Initiative is committed to promoting the rights, dignity, and inclusion of children with special needs through strategic advocacy at community, institutional, and policy levels. Our Advocacy Programmes work to eliminate discrimination, influence positive policy reforms, and create environments where every child can enjoy equal opportunities regardless of disability.
We collaborate with government institutions, educational authorities, healthcare providers, civil society organizations, development partners, and community leaders to champion inclusive policies and strengthen legal protections for persons with disabilities. Through awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement, public education, media outreach, and policy dialogue, we amplify the voices of children and families who are often underrepresented in decision-making processes.
Our advocacy efforts address critical issues including inclusive education, accessible healthcare, child protection, disability rights, assistive technologies, accessibility standards, and social inclusion. We also empower parents and caregivers to become advocates within their communities by providing knowledge about legal rights, available services, and opportunities for civic engagement.
By encouraging collaboration across sectors, we help build systems that recognize the potential of every child while promoting equal participation in education, employment, healthcare, and community life. Our Advocacy Programmes seek not only to change policies but also to transform attitudes, ensuring that children with special needs are respected, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential within an inclusive society.

A Story of Impact
Caregiver Empowerment & Emotional Support
A mother of a child with special needs reported experiencing isolation and emotional burnout. After participating in structured caregiver support sessions organised by the Initiative, she gained practical coping strategies, connected with other parents facing similar challenges, and developed stronger advocacy skills for her child.
